The Era of Aussies is going on at Mohun Bagan. Amid rumors of Jamie Maclaren, here is a thread for all the Australians who has played for Mohun Bagan over the years....

𝐎𝐊𝐖𝐘 𝐃𝐈𝐀𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐃𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐑


Diamondstar signed for Bagan in 2010-11 season, where he debuted for the club in a 1-0 defeat against Chirag United, becoming the first player from Australia to represent Mohun Bagan. Though he didn't play much, it was his only recorded appearance.




𝐒𝐈𝐌𝐎𝐍 𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐄𝐘


The Aussie centre back Storey joined Mohun Bagan in the 2011-12 season and became the 2nd Aussie to represent Mohun Bagan in Competitive Football.



 𝐃𝐀𝐍𝐈𝐄𝐋𝐋 𝐙𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐘


The Aussie centre back Zeleny joined Mohun Bagan in the 2011-12 season and became the 3rd Aussie to represent Mohun Bagan in Competitive Football. He was often called as Mr. Derby for his impressive performances against East Bengal in the Kolkata Derby.




𝐓𝐎𝐋𝐆𝐄𝐘 𝐎𝐙𝐁𝐄𝐘


Tolgey became the first Forward and 4th Australian to represent Mohun Bagan. He signed from our arch rivals Kingfisher East Bengal after a long saga in 2012-13.




𝐃𝐈𝐎𝐆𝐎 𝐅𝐄𝐑𝐑𝐄𝐈𝐑𝐀

Midfielder Diogo Ferreira joined Mohun Bagan in 2017-18, becoming the 5th Aussie to represent the club.




𝐂𝐀𝐌𝐄𝐑𝐎𝐍 𝐖𝐀𝐓𝐒𝐎𝐍


Previously with Bengaluru FC, Mohun Bagan signed Aussie maestro Cameron Watson for a 6 month deal in 2017-18. Thus, Watson became the 6th Australian to play for Mohun Bagan.



𝐃𝐀𝐕𝐈𝐃 𝐖𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐈𝐀𝐌𝐒


In the debut season of Hero ISL, Mohun Bagan signed David Williams from ATK, and David became the 7th Australian to play for Mohun Bagan!

Mohun Bagan signed Brad Inman in the 2020-21 season too, who became the 8th Australian to play for our club.

Hamill became the 9th, and the First Aussie Centre Back for Mohun Bagan in ISL. He is one of the three who are still at the club.





𝐃𝐈𝐌𝐈𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐎𝐒 𝐏𝐄𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐎𝐒


Dimi Petratos became the 10th Australian and the first Aussie world Cupper to represent the Club. He is often considered the best footballer of Mohun Bagan in ‘Indian Super League’ history, and surely a fan favourite!





𝐉𝐀𝐒𝐎𝐍 𝐂𝐔𝐌𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐒


The most valuable Australian player ever to play in India till date, Jason Cummings, a current world Cupper debuted for Mohun Bagan in the 2023/24 season, becoming the 11th Australian to play for Mohun Bagan. Currently he has scored 11 goals in ISL.
