In recent past, Mohun Bagan have enquired multiple times for Jamie, but the player didn't wanted a move to India. This season though, with a prospect of playing in ACL 2 and reuniting with Dimitri Petratos and Jason Cummings, Jamie has given permission to his representatives to hold talks with Mohun Bagan SG management.
Known for buying proven Australian league strikers, Mohun Bagan have recruited ex A League and ATK gunmen Roy Krishna, David Williams, followed by the inclusion of Dimi and Cummings. Now, as all sources indicates, Mohun Bagan are leading the chase for the Aussie Superman Maclaren.
As we revealed today morning, Mohun Bagan has placed an offer for Jamie, and the player has offer from another Indian club too. As per multiple Australian sources, Mohun Bagan have offered a multi year deal and a salary in the range of INR 4-4.5cr for the player.
Jamie is known as one of the best in the circuit, and, with Sadiku's imminent departure, it looks like Mohun Bagan are determined to recruit the best in the circuit.
