OFFICIAL: Mohun Bagan signs Dheeraj Singh on a One Year Deal


Mohun Bagan today has announced the signing of Dheeraj Singh from FC Goa. The club's official Press release is attached below:

"Mohun Bagan Super Giant have signed goalkeeper Dheeraj Singh, who played in India's Under-17 World Cup. Dheeraj, the deputy of Vishal Kaith, has been brought into the team on a one-year contract. Son of Manipur, Dheeraj has played for FC Goa for the last three years. He has played 53 matches in Goa's jersey. A student of the Federation's elite academy, the 24-year-old promising goalkeeper has played for Kerala Blasters and Goa apart from Indian Arrows.

He also has the experience of playing in the green maroon jersey at Mohun Bagan in Kolkata. The addition of this accomplished goalkeeper boosted Jose Molina's side's strength under the bar. Mohun Bagan Super Giant will start their pre-season preparation at the newly constructed Mohun Bagan ground on the historic Mohun Bagan Day at 9 am on July 29. Dheeraj will join the preparations of Jose Molina's team from the first day."
