The Green and Maroons in Youth Leagues | March 1st & 2nd Week


After a disastrous phase under Juan Ferrando Mohun Bagan resurged under Antonio Lopez Habas and now dreaming of winning the ISL Shield. Apart from the senior team Mohun Bagan's developmental teams are showing promises in different youth leagues. In the first two weeks, Mohun Bagan played only U13 & RFDL matches, whereas our U17 boys are chilling at their home since February, as there is no info regarding U17 Youth League National Round. Also, our U15 boys are getting ready for the AIFF Junior League (U15), which is all set to start from end of March.

SUB JUNIOR LEAGUE:


In the Sub-Junior League, Mohun Bagan are now topping the Group A with four wins from seven matches. 
In yesterday's derby in the Sub Junior League, the young Mariners made a comeback from being down three goals to one to finish the match 5-5 against East Bengal. 

Other matches (in this month) in the Sub Juniors League are :
Mohun Bagan vs Mohammedan SC: 5-2
Mohun Bagan vs Bidhannagar Municipal Sports Academy: 5-2

RF DEVELOPMENT LEAGUE :


In the RFDL East Region Qualifiers, Mohun Bagan are currently 4th in the table with 7 points from 5 matches.
Mohun Bagan kickstarted the RFDL campaign by getting the better of Kalighat. Two goals from Serto were enough to secure three points.
In the second match, Mohun Bagan drew 2-2 with Mohammedan SC. Tonsing scored a brace in that match. 
Mohun Bagan faced the first defeat in the league against Adamas United Sports Academy. Fardin Ali Molla scored the only goal for Mohun Bagan. 

In the fourth match, Mohun Bagan faced a heavy 3-0 defeat against Jamshedpur but came back to winning ways in the very next match against Odisha FC. The Mariners breeze past the Kalinga Warriors with a 7-0 win. Fardin, Serto, Suhail, Taison, Engson, Tapan were the scorers in that match.
