-: Tactical Analysis :-

Mohun Bagan faced a humiliating defeat at sree kanteerava when they faced Bengaluru for the first time this season. Mohun Bagan were handed a 3-0 defeat as Edgar, Suresh and Sunil hit the net for Bengaluru FC.

After that match, Mohun Bagan made a total turnaround and are currently leading the ISL league table with 37 points from 17 matches , whereas, Bengaluru are facing a bump after a superb start to the season. Bengaluru currently seat in third with 28 points from 17 matches.

Mohun Bagan have drawn their last matches on the road with Jamshedpur FC and Chennaiyin FC, whereas Bengaluru have lost their last 2 games. But going into the match, the psychological advantage is with Mohun Bagan, who could see the Shield within reach and a win would take them closer to the shield.

Bagan coach Molina changed his starting lineup in the previous game to try something new and giving game time to young players and testing Dimi Petratos and Greg Stewart, who were returning from injuries.

But against a side like Bengaluru it is expected that Bagan coach will use his full strength squad and will try to avenge the humiliating defeat away to Bengaluru. With a win, Bagan would reach the 40 point mark and that would set them for a thunderous run towards the shield.

There were speculations over the presence of Tom Aldred and Alberto Rodriguez , but they are also available for selection against the blues.

-: Players to Watch out For :-

Jason Cummings :- Jason Cummings has been a total rejuvenation this season under Molina, from not only scoring goals, he has shifted focus on trying something new and creating goals. His creativity and set-piece abilities has been a asset for the team in absence of Dimi and Greg. He would be the player to look out for in tomorrow’s match as his presence can dictate the outcome of the play.
