Mohun Bagan have secured the signing of Veteran Spanish Defender Hector Yuste from Omonia Nicosia, the current Cypriot Cup champions. At 35, Hector can play as a Centre Back and Defensive Midfielder. Last year he played for Omonia against Manchester United, where he put up a great performance against players like Cristiano Ronaldo, Marcus Rashford, Eriksen.
Hector, aerially very strong joins Mohun Bagan with vast experience of playing in Spanish 2nd division and Cypriot league. He won three titles with Omonia in his recent spell with the club.
After releasing Carl McHugh, Mohun Bagan went into the market for a foreign Midfielder, who can play as a Centre Back too. They have finally got their man in Hector Yuste.
As per our sources, the player is set to commit in a One year deal with option of extending it for another year.
