Mohun Bagan are in advanced talks with Armando Sadiku. The deal is not yet done but talks are very advanced.
Initially Sadiku was a backup option to Mohun Bagan for Cummings, but when management sealed the Cummings deal, they thought of not pursuing Sadiku anymore.

Later they went for a foreign Midfielder in the market but suddenly Anirudh Thapa became available, so they went for him and were looking for a versatile foreign forward instead.
Alberto Quiles emerged as the main target but he chose Albacete.
Then Antonio Lopez Habas came into the frame. He convinced the management that two foreign strikers will be lethal in Indian football and he pointed out the success story of Krishna and Williams.
Management listened to him and went all out for the Albanian striker.
Now it seems Sadiku deal is very advanced.
As Cummings deal is already done, Hugo Boumous is most likely to be sacrificed, who has been given permission to look for clubs out side India.
Management is thinking of Deploying Dimitri Petratos in the Right Wing if Sadiku gets done.
In all probability Mohun Bagan have left the pursuit of Ishan Pandita and Md Yasir, as they believe Dimitri Kiyan Manvir can be great options in the right side of the field.
If Sadiku is done, he won't be the final foreigner as per current update.
