A strong performance against them could mean far more than just a memorable ninety minutes. For the millions of supporters watching, it'll be a night to remember!
THE BELIEF FROM BENGALURU
On paper, it was supposed to be a difficult evening for India against a #44 Ranked team coming with the experience of a World Cup campaign. What followed, however, was a performance that gave Indian football fans plenty to be proud of.Ryan Williams's goal was the kind of moment that makes football so special. The match eventually ended 1-1, but the result does little justice to the dominance shown by the Blue Tigers. That night in Bengaluru offered something more valuable than three points could have provided: Hope!
The courage India plays with will send a message to the world. After what happened in Bengaluru, there is every reason for Indian football fans to believe that the Blue Tigers will not walk onto the pitch merely to admire the opposition. They will walk out to compete!

THE TACTICAL BATTLE
Now, the biggest challenge of the Int'l Window has arrived. Brazil will present a completely different level of quality and experience. However, while carrying enormous pressure, India have nothing to lose by taking the game to Brazil.Brazil's ability to control possession, create numerical advantages and attack spaces in the final third means India will have to remain compact without becoming passive.
India's midfield will have to perform two jobs at once. They will need to provide an outlet when the team wins possession while also protecting the defence when Brazil attacks.
The transition phase will be crucial as one of India's most important weapons. Brazil's attacking players are capable of creating opportunities from very little, but their advanced positioning can also leave spaces when possession changes hands. India will need to recognise those moments quickly!
The full backs cannot simply remain deep for the entire match, because that could allow Brazil to control the game. At the same time, pushing forward without sufficient cover could leave space for Brazil's wide attackers.
PLAYERS TO WATCH
RYAN WILLIAMS : All attention on him after his performance against Panama. Against Brazil, Williams needs to bring his A-game. His ability to hold up the ball, attack spaces and make intelligent runs behind the defence could provide India the breakthrough.MANVIR SINGH : His pace could be one of India's biggest weapons against Brazil. Stretching the Brazilian defence will open spaces for Williams to exploit. He could help India turn limited possession into meaningful attacking moments.
SAHAL ABDUL SAMAD : One of India's key players against Brazil. His ability to receive the ball between the lines and turn under pressure to deliver key passes will help India progress their attacks through the midfield.
VINÍCIUS JÚNIOR : One of the most dangerous attacking players in world football. His acceleration, close control and ability to attack defenders one-on-one make him a constant threat from the flank. India's defensive structure will have to remain compact whenever he receives possession in advanced areas.
ENDRICK : Despite his young age, he has already experienced football at the highest level. His movement around the penalty area and ability to score from tight spaces needs to cut short by the centre backs.

A NEW CHAPTER UNFOLDS IN INDIA
For Indian football, there is something particularly fitting about Brazil's first senior men's international match on Indian soil taking place in Kolkata. This is a city where football has never simply been a sport. It has been part of the city's identity for generations. The Maidan has produced countless stories. The stands have witnessed unforgettable nights.Mohun Bagan faced New York Cosmos that featured Legend Pele and 1970 Brazilian World Cup Captain, Carlos Alberto Torres back in 1977. That match drew 2-2. 49 years later, Brazil and India face each other today.
For one evening, the whole world will look at the Salt Lake Stadium.
Let the stands flood with blue, and fill with the cries of Vande Mataram echoing through the walls of VYBK. Let India remind the world what football really means to it!
