14' Vincy gets the ball back from Bose, and sends in a cross too deep that was easily collected by Vishal.
12' Manvir passes the ball to Tekcham who nutmegs Eze in the box. Maclaren gets a grounded shot off through Pratik's legs towards the left post but it slides past the post slightly off target. CLOSE CHANCE!
9' Tom Aldred has been absorbing pressure from Nikola and Messi Bouli from the start. He goes down after a clash with Nikola that hurt his shins. Back on his feet and ready to continue!
8' JFC is pressing high with high backline, not allowing Bagan to play passes and move ahead. They aren't afraid to be physically dominant to recover the ball.
6' Maclaren presses and forces error from Eze, passes it to Liston in the midfield. Liston heads it for Robson up ahead but the Brazilian couldn't get it under control to get a shot off.
5' Liston manages to get past Vincy and pass it to Thapa who lays it off for Manvir. He crosses the ball but it goes over the heads of 3 Mariners in the box.

Coach Sergio Lobera promised a different style of gameplay in today's match compared to the one we witnessed against Mumbai City FC in the Pre-Match Press Conference. Looking at the forward line-up, it is difficult to determine whether Robson will play on the left wing and Liston as CAM or vice versa, or will it remain fluid as we have seen in previous matches? It remains to be seen. As for JFC's strategy, Coach Owen Coyle has deployed 5 defenders which will allow Mark to move up and down the left wing to aid Sanan, and Stephen Eze can play alongside Nikola and Pronay to intercept the ball early in the midfield. In the 2nd Half, the Captain has been seen to be shifting to attacking positions as well.
