Mohun Bagan have parted ways with Head Coach Juan Ferrando Fenoll. Juan joined Mohun Bagan from FC Goa in 2021-22 season, where Mohun Bagan paid record Transfer fees to FC Goa for the signing.
The Spanish Maestro was a success for Mohun Bagan in short term, where Mohun Bagan reached AFC Cup Inter Zonal semi finals.
Mohun Bagan won their first ISL Cup under the able guidance of the Spaniard. Mohun Bagan extended Juan's contract till the end of 2023-24 season.
Mohun Bagan's initial goal for 23-24 season was to do well in the AFC Cup and Winning the League, Juan delivered Mohun Bagan's 17th Durand Cup Title; but after Anwar Ali's injury, everything fell apart.

Initially it was planned that Juan will stay at least for the Kalinga Super Cup. But, MBFT understands Juan Ferrando resigned from his post today as Mohun Bagan's head coach.
In short term, till the end of the season, former ATK, Pune City FC and Mohun Bagan coach Antonio Lopez Habas will takeover the managerial role.
