Sanjay Sen set to leave Mohun Bagan

Sanjay Sen is a very popular name in the Mohun Bagan folklore. Sanjay Sen joined Mohun Bagan in 2014-15. In his debut season, he helped Mohun Bagan to win the I-League. The next year Mohun Bagan won the Federation Cup under his guidance. In January 2018, he left the club.
In 2020, after Mohun Bagan joined ISL, Sanjay Sen joined the club as Antonio Lopez Habas's assistant, but after Habas left, he went on to become the head of Mohun Bagan Youth Development. But now, he is all set to leave the role of Head Of Youth Development.
Sanjay Sen recently appeared for the AFC Pro Licence exam, and he has achieved the licence.
Speaking to XtraTime Bangla, Sanjay Sen said, he will not continue in the current role anymore, and he has already informed the club about his decision. He wants to take a small break and spend times with his family now. But, being an AFC Pro Licence holder now, Sanjay Sen is prepared to join any club in future as the head coach.

With the recent inclusion of Clifford Miranda, and Bastob Roy moving to the Reserves Squad, a new Coaching setup is expected in Mohun Bagan. We thank Sanjay Sen for everything he has done for our club, and wish him all the best!
