"It was my first Derby, I enjoyed a lot but result was not good and I want to say to fans that support us, like they did last game" : Anwar Ali

Mohun Bagan is all set to face Machhindra FC in the AFC Cup Preliminary rounds Today i.e on 16th August. Mohun Bagan Coach Juan Ferrando along with Anwar Ali gave Press Conference ahead of Today's AFC Match. Here is what he said :

Juan Ferrando on Anwar Ali and his best players : "My point of view on him is that he is in the Top 3 center backs of India. For me its pleasure to work with him but obviously we need to do work now like I think I don't know this question in this moment , I cannot tell you the answer because we have a training, the players like Jason Cummings, Armando Sadiku, they joined us last week. They need time, they need to adapt and its very important to be quite about the time of the process, you know."

"I know everybody is excited about these incomings, about Armando, about Jason, its normal but the players need time, the players need training, need to work like a team and work with the team all the time."

Juan Ferrando on Cummings : "He played the last match for 20 minutes, we will see half more minutes and I hope step by step, game by game will be more better in performance and the most important is to know our process, our way, our methodology and sure in the next matches his performance will be much better but obviously its impossible that Jason Cummings and rest of the players will be in the best performance because they need time. Everybody needs time"

"For them its difficult to come to India, to learn about the process, the mentality, the culture, its a lot of things changing in his life and its necessary to trust in process and learn step by step"

Anwar Ali when asked about his performance and Mariners: "It was my first Derby, so it was difficult for me also, like so many people were supporting both teams and I am not happy after the game because it was my first Derby, I enjoyed a lot but result was not good and I want to say to fans that support us, like they did last game. In the upcoming days  we will do better and will give our best"
